Romeo has never fit in with the other Clefaries. Instead of being the shy, meek Pokemon that they're known for, he has always been a vicious little ball of pink fury. When he runs away from his home at Mt. Moon, he gets captured by a giddy, novice trainer by the name of 'Puddles'. He grows bitter, and begins to loathe everything about her.

Puddles' naiveity has her trying out a sun stone to make Romeo evolve; But the stone obviously fails, and has a strange side-effect. Romeo finds that the sun stone has given him the ability to speak.

Now that he can consort with the humans, maybe his schemes to rule the world just might come true after all.

Crystal: Lmao, I suppose they could use a little more nerve, at the very least. xD But later I'll get to explaining the Clefairy tribe's mindset. They aren't cowards, they just think it best to avoid conflict. While Romeo feels he must fight. But all that comes up in the next few pages. ;D

Lefty: Omgz, lol. Imagine Romeo becomes the boss, and makes Sandshrew Soccer a cavewide sport. >D

Test: Oh, WOW. That's a lotta Clefairys. xD I've only had a few Clefairys in my Pokemon 'career', so I'm not one to say. xD I just go by the anime and the Pokedex entries when they say that they're shy. ^__^ When I put up the character profiles at the end of this chapter, I'll put their stats along with them, so you could see the 'gameboy' versions of these guys, including nature stats, Diamond//Pearl style. ;D

but clefairy docile by nature! i caught 39 clefaires before i fond one with a bold nature, 41 for Rash, 56 for brave, and 70 for adamant! my friend LOVES clefairy cause of her old gold, so she begged me to catch her one just like her old one! #35 clefairy female 'lollypop' timid. i had to catch 12 before i found one with a timid nature!
