Romeo has never fit in with the other Clefaries. Instead of being the shy, meek Pokemon that they're known for, he has always been a vicious little ball of pink fury. When he runs away from his home at Mt. Moon, he gets captured by a giddy, novice trainer by the name of 'Puddles'. He grows bitter, and begins to loathe everything about her.

Puddles' naiveity has her trying out a sun stone to make Romeo evolve; But the stone obviously fails, and has a strange side-effect. Romeo finds that the sun stone has given him the ability to speak.

Now that he can consort with the humans, maybe his schemes to rule the world just might come true after all.

Sorry I'm going through a little slow patch, here, but I've just gotten myself involved in yet another collaboration comic which I've gotta cover all the art on, so as my work load builds, I might have those periods of a few days where you won't see much of me.

But I'm still gonna update as regularly as possible. ^^;

Sorry about today's page. It's so scribbly and ugly, I just wanna cry.... But I was in a hurry. xP Enjoy, nonetheless, things are about to wrap up for this chapter, already! ;O

So yes, Rude runs on all fours when he's in a big enough hurry. I try to imagine them as close to the animal that they represent as possible, so of course, a shrew would deem a snake as his natural enemy. He really flips on snakes all through out the story. xDD

Now if only battles worked like this in the game. If only...

And Raticate is possibly the fluffiest ball of fury I have ever seen. I have an overwhelming desire to somehow create one just to squeeze it. XD
