Romeo has never fit in with the other Clefaries. Instead of being the shy, meek Pokemon that they're known for, he has always been a vicious little ball of pink fury. When he runs away from his home at Mt. Moon, he gets captured by a giddy, novice trainer by the name of 'Puddles'. He grows bitter, and begins to loathe everything about her.

Puddles' naiveity has her trying out a sun stone to make Romeo evolve; But the stone obviously fails, and has a strange side-effect. Romeo finds that the sun stone has given him the ability to speak.

Now that he can consort with the humans, maybe his schemes to rule the world just might come true after all.

Hohohoho, Rude, the fat, socially awkward, Sandshrew. He's Romeo's little side-kick, persay, and one of my all time favorite characters. ^.^ So fun to draw.

EDIT: OMG! I totally forgot to tone Romeo's ears...! Forgive me! I'll do it tomorrow when I get back from San Diego. *dead tired*

EDITEDIT: So I'm tired and I wanna play gameboy. Ear tones tomorrow, I promise.

EDITEDITEDIT: Sorry, I was late on the tones... There was an emergency this weekend that held me up.... Not like his ears are a big deal, though...

It's kind of hard to tell the clefairies apart; I couldn't tell when the POV changed from the other Clefairies and Romeo.
